Richmond Photo Club
Founded in 1980, the Club comprises a wide variety of beginners, intermediate and advanced photographers who shoot in digital format using many different techniques. They meet regularly on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, and often the third Tuesday as well, at 7:00, in the painting studio, second floor of the Richmond Cultural Centre at the corner of Granville Ave. and Minoru in Richmond BC. They break for the summer, and do not meet during July and August.
Everyone is invited to come and meet them. Guests are welcome to attend two meetings free of charge before deciding whether to join the club.
Richmond Photo Club has a great cross section of members ranging from casual photographers to experienced shooters, who can help you by offering their expertise and experience. You can share ideas about various techniques, practice your photography on a field trip and perhaps teach others what you already know from your own personal experience.
It gives you the opportunity to compare your work with other photographers, within the club and outside. You can also learn from the techniques that their members have used to improve their skills. All members have one common purpose – to enjoy photography! For more details and samples of their work visit their website.
